The honeycomb pavers are a highly durable turf reinforcement and load-transferring paving system, specifically designed for use on an engineer-specified compacted road base. Featuring a fused hexagonal design, these pavers offer a compressive strength of 57,890 psf when empty, providing superior strength and longevity compared to traditional pavers that use linked circles or squares. The system is designed to effectively distribute vehicle weight to the base course, preventing soil compaction and supporting healthy root growth. The honeycomb structure offers excellent resistance to vehicular loads and lateral containment. Proudly made in the USA, these pavers come in both 4’ x 24’ and 4’ x 150’ rolls.

Installation

4" - 6" aggregate base must be installed directly below the pavers (see illustration below). The grass roots will grow into the aggregate (gravel) and anchor firmly. If an aggregate base isn't installed, a "cookie cutter" effect will take place and the pavers can sink into the soil.
If an aggregate base isn't practical for the project, consider the TT-24 Grass Pavers which feature a tapered bottom and can be placed directly over soil without sinking.
